The Forbidden Cemetery, formerly known as Dolab, is located southeast of Tehran, the burial place of Christians from Armenia, France, Italy, Russia and Poland, who lived in Iran in the 19th and 20th centuries and died there.

Some of these people buried in this place are soldiers of the First and Second World Wars, as well as civilians and even celebrities of that period.

In this collection, you will see tombstones that years ago, relatives and survivors of people buried in this place, laid flowers on them to pay their respects. But now, years later, damp photographs of

dried flowers remain on dusty rocks
